Pork Leg or Pork Shoulder with bone (Traditional Recipe)

1500g pork leg or pork shoulder

10 tablespoons olive oil

4-6 cloves of garlic

some peaks of rosemary

pepper grains, oregano

10 tablespoons water

1 medium onion

3 bay leaves

salt, pepper, (optional)


Brush the meat carefully with olive oil on both sides. At the top of the meat, roll with the knife slits in the meat and let into the slots garlic tops of rosemary and peppercorns. In our desktop put a little olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper. Then put the underside of the meat on the desktop in order to pick up the spices. Place in baking pan 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 tablespoons water, three bay leaves, onion sliced, some peppercorns and oregano as well as a little salt and pepper. Place the meat in the baking pan and spill over 2 tablespoons olive oil as well as some salt, pepper and oregano. Close the baking pan and bake in the oven for 2 hours at 180 ˚C.
